2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Psalm 85:6 – “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?”
- Pray that all those who have a personal relationship with the Lord will walk in humility in recognition that pride leads to destruction and humility precedes honor. (Micah 6:8, Proverbs 18:12)
- Pray that God’s people would lay aside differences, and unite behind the desperate need for an outpouring of God’s Spirit in revival. (Psalm 133:1-3, Ephesians 4:1-6)
- Pray the we will meditate daily on the Word of God, allowing God to conform us to the image of Christ. (Psalm 119:9-11, 1 Peter 1:13-2:3, Romans 8:29, Philippians 1:6, 2 Corinthians 7:1)
- Thank the Lord for His promise to extend mercy to those who “confess and forsake their sin” and that He is faithful and just to forgive sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (Proverbs 28:13, 1 John 1:9)
