I walk out of my office and there are two women sitting in a mini-van praying.
I am working in my office and someone comes in and asks “Can you pray for me?” and we do.
I find out that several youth group kids are staying behind after Teen Bible Study to pray before the worship service starts.
Another group of youth group kids are praying together during lunch on Wednesdays.
A group of Elders meet before Adult Bible Study to pray.
And then there are all the people who are praying while waiting for trains!
I’ve also seen lots of pieces of chalk in cars.
And this list is a scratch on the surface. I am told by so many of our “slightly older bunch” that they are praying and I KNOW that they are.
I don’t know if you are seeing what I am seeing but what I am seeing is a humble church family, dependent upon the Lord, obedient to His will and desiring to be near to Him and His work.
I love my church.
